Acrochordons
Acrochordons
are not warts. Acrochordons are
small benign skin appear that grow especially in areas that are prone to
friction as the area below the chest, neck, armpits or groin, and sometimes
appear on eyelids. Its appearance may be due mainly to rubbing skin to skin
caused by the same obesity. They
ARE NOT CONTAGIOUS!
Risk factors:
Gens
Obesity
Diabetes
Pregnancy
Acrochordons
are not contagious and may be related to Diabetes II which is a disease usually related
to people with obesity, and who have very bad eating habits. They are also
related to genetic or hereditary causes. You can even get them temporally
because of hormonal changes due to pregnancy. They are not painful, but people
who get them, tend to seek medical help mostly because they look very
unpleasant, and they want to have an aesthetic alternative to remove
them.
Best
thing to do if you already got them is to visit your doctor to assess the
method of removal, however, is no guarantee that never again appear if you are
not seriously committed to changing your diet habits, and exercising more
frequently. There are some people who recommend home remedies and some
unhealthy techniques to eliminate them but I personally, recommend you to
visit the dermatologist in order to avoid unnecessary risk infection that
could aggravate the aesthetics of your problem.
We
now know that skin tags are related to Diabetes II, GENS, AND
OBESITY. Therefore, you should drastically change your diet, eating healthy,
reducing carbohydrates and sugars, avoiding a sedentary lifestyle, and
exercising daily.
I
sincerely hope that through this blog you can help others by sharing this
information. Thank you :)
