CONSTIPATION

Constipation:


How many times a week  do you go to the bathroom to defecate?
If your answer is less than three times a week we could be talking about constipation.

Why do we need to defecate oftenly?


There may be individuals who defecate more than three times a week but if the stools are dry, hard and great effort to expel is required, this is called also constipation. If this is the case, there may be pain every time you go to the bathroom, and the person may refer he/she feels there was no total evacuation.

The food we eat must be evacuated regularly. Otherwise, this accumulation of feces, cause headache, make us feel heavy, filled with gas, and even make us feel sick.

Causes of Constipation:


Constipation can occur in people with certain diseases such as depression, thyroid disease, diabetes, pregnancy and even may be caused by medication or some other underlying disease. However, at this time, I want to refer exactly to constipation that appears as a result of stress, lack of exercise, or  because of taking some medicines or even as a result of our bad eating habits that include high consumption of junk food.

This type of constipation may be temporary and can be corrected by ourselves if we follow the recommendations given below.

If a person has been suffering from constipation for more than three months, we are talking about chronic constipation and should seek medical help quickly to find the real cause that generates it. Remember that if not corrected soon constipation can cause a major problem such as hemorrhoids, which are enlarged veins around the year overexertion when defecating.

Common symptoms of constipation:


Many gas and cramping.
Painful bowel movements.
very hard stools.
Difficulty going to the bathroom.

Prevention and treatment of constipation:


Drink a lot of liquid.

drink water to get ride of constipation


Eating a high fiber diet to help evacuation of feces.

eat hiealthy to avoid constipation


Perform daily exercise like biking or walking favorably increase bowel movement.

Not hold the urge to go to the bathroom when it is presented.
