WHAT DO THOSE DARK SPOT MEAN?

What are those dark spots that are  around the neck, elbows, and even in armpits and folds of the body on some people?  


Today I will explain why some people get those dark spots. Usually people will feel ashamed because of this, and consequently, they will not go to the doctor because they think it is related to poor hygiene. Wrong!! ACANTHOSIS NIGRICANS mainly affects African, Hispanic and Caribbean people. However, it could affect anyone who is obese, and even children.

Obesity, sedentary lifestyle, eating junk food, aging and family heritage are the main causes of diabetes mellitus. Health complications caused by diabetes are very serious and endanger the lives of people who suffer. Diabetes mellitus has become a global epidemic.

Acrochordons are not warts. Acrochordons are small benign skin appear that grow especially in areas that are prone to friction as the area below the chest, neck, armpits or groin, and sometimes appear on eyelids. Its appearance may be due mainly to rubbing skin to skin caused by the same obesity. They ARE NOT CONTAGIOUS!
